<p>When I was but a burgeoning console junkie cutting my teeth in Mint, my first few forays with mounting a new drive had proven to be a struggle. Sure - LLMs exist now, why bother writing this?

This brief tutorial should be cross-flavor, meaning it should work on Debian-, Fedora-, and Arch-based systems alike. For today’s guide we’ll be using CachyOS, adjust for your package manager accordingly! :)

This has been cool for storing footage from our IP cams, though I’m not too thrilled with the performance of our current setup. We use Tapo, and the small ones work fine - but the “good” one for the entryway doesn’t support local account setup. We bought them in a pinch and they’ve been effective, but I’m not crazy about them. Immich
