Context
My partner and I have a pretty solid burgeoning CD collection. Among this collection sat this hidden gem. I’d never heard of this crew before, but the artwork was interesting - plus upon asking Love the source, I trusted said source - it was time to give it a whirl.
Starting off was a hauntingly interesting “My Hill”. Deep and dark, unsettling, getting playful with stereo vocals. The only thing notably dislikable was the rumble toward the back half that I couldn’t quite place.
