Technically the second remix I did. A great nerdy folk group, no shortage of LotR love at their shows (complete with live readings of passages from The Hobbit). I could hear the remix in my head on the first listen, this is what followed.

When I was but a burgeoning console junkie cutting my teeth in Mint, my first few forays with mounting a new drive had proven to be a struggle. Sure - LLMs exist now, why bother writing this?

This brief tutorial should be cross-flavor, meaning it should work on Debian-, Fedora-, and Arch-based systems alike. For today’s guide we’ll be using CachyOS, adjust for your package manager accordingly! :)

The band

Avenged Sevenfold – a critically acclaimed rock/metal outfit from California. Their first couple albums lent more of a hardcore sound, finding their way with tracks like “Second Heartbeat” and “Unholy Confessions” from the second record “Waking the Fallen”. What followed with City of Evil was a commercial success with songs like “Bat Country” and “Seize the Day” finding their way onto the radio. After which they put out another commercially successful self-titled offering. “Almost Easy” and “Afterlife” offering more radio play while “Little Piece of Heaven” was an absolutely GENIUS shock-rock piece allowing them to stretch their legs creatively.

This has been cool for storing footage from our IP cams, though I’m not too thrilled with the performance of our current setup. We use Tapo, and the small ones work fine - but the “good” one for the entryway doesn’t support local account setup. We bought them in a pinch and they’ve been effective, but I’m not crazy about them.
